Preventive Maintenance Services
Services Includes:
- Monthly Preventive Maintenance (performed remotely or on-site)
- Completion of the Monthly Maintenance Checklist shown below for all KNEs and workstations covered under this Agreement
- Completion of the Quarterly Maintenance Checklist shown below for all KNEs and workstations covered under this Agreement
- Quarterly meeting with manager to discuss performance, utilization, alerts and resolution reports and capacity planning
Monthly Maintenance Checklist:
- System logs (check and resolve issues)
- Application logs (check and resolve issues)
- Clean tape drive
- Test restore from backup tapes to a temporary directory
- Perform disk defragmentation if applicable
- Maintain user lists (add or delete users) - Disable the guest account if it is not used
- Test UPS
- Update Emergency Repair Disks
- Review permissions and security settings on directory structures
- Clean up temporary files (both IE / Netscape and hard disks)
- Apply Pro Systems approved service packs to operating system and any server applications
- Run windows Update to get the latest security patches and rollups
- Monitor corporate antivirus logs and check items in the quarantine area
- Update any hardware drivers when necessary (Discuss with manager first)
- Check and clean the administrator's email account if applicable
- Update technical documentation
- Monthly network status report / discussion with manager
Quarterly Maintenance Checklist:
- General server / workstation cleanliness (Clean case, blow out dust, ensure proper seating and power connectivity)
- General site cleanliness (Ensure cleanliness and orderliness of wiring closets and technical environments under Pro Systems care)
Notes:
- Travel will be billed at a set hourly rate plus travel expenses
- If the Service Recipient commits to at least 3 hours of preventive maintenance per month, Pro Systems will guarantee a monthly on-site visit.
- If the Service Recipient only commits to one or two hours of preventive maintenance per month, Pro Systems will guarantee a quarterly on-site visit with other preventive maintenance items being performed remotely.
